Request for Proposals Recycling & Trash Service at the Town Hall

Subject: Request for Proposal (RFP) for Single Sort Recycling and Trash Pick-Up Services

The Town of Polk, Washington County is seeking proposals from qualified waste management companies to provide single sort recycling and trash pick-up services for our facility located at 3680 State Hwy 60, Slinger.

The scope of services includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Single Sort Recycling Dumpster (Six 8-Yard Dumpsters):
    • Weekly collection and disposal of single sort recyclable materials.
    • Provision of appropriate containers for recyclable materials.
    • Compliance with all local and state regulations regarding recycling.
  1. Trash Pick-Up Service (One 2-yard):
    • Bi-weekly collection and disposal of non-recyclable waste materials.
    • Provision of a 2-yard trash dumpster or equivalent container.
    • Compliance with all waste disposal regulations.

Interested waste management companies are invited to submit proposals addressing the following:

  1. Company Overview:
    • Background information about the company, including years of experience and areas of expertise.
    • Relevant certifications and accreditations.
  1. Service Details:
    • Description of the proposed single sort recycling and trash pick-up services, including frequency of collection and any additional services offered.
    • Details of the equipment and containers provided for recycling and trash disposal.
  1. Pricing Structure:
    • Clear and transparent pricing for the proposed services, including any applicable fees or surcharges.
    • Options for contract duration and payment terms.
  1. References:
    • Contact information for at least three current or past clients who can serve as references for the company’s waste management services.

Town of Polk reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and to negotiate terms with any qualified vendor. This RFP does not commit Town of Polk to award a contract or pay any costs incurred in the preparation of proposals.
